Two reference letters should be filled in by persons who are familiar with candidate's academic abilities and who can objectively assess his suitability for a research career. The letter is strictly confidential and should be posted directly by the referee in an envelope so as to reach Board of Graduate Studies, Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore-560034 on or before 31st August 2012.
