Applications have been invited by Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT), Kochi, Kerala for admission to the following BTech Degree courses under Management and NRI Quota for Academic Year 2011-12:
* Computer Science and Engineering
* Electronics and Communication Engineering
* Electrical and Electronics Engineering
* Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering
* Mechanical Engineering
* Civil Engineering (subject to approval)
Minimum Eligibility:
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in Mathematics as stipulated by M G University. However average 70% marks for PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) in 12th standard is desirable.
He/She shall be qualified in Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam 2011 for all seats other than NRI Quota.
Selection:
Strictly on the basis of merit. A Rank list will be prepared on the basis of index mark obtained with 50:50 weightage for the percentage marks obtained in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination – 2011, and percentage marks obtained for PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) in 12th Standard. The branch will be allotted based on the rank, preference and availability of seats at the time of interview.
Govt. Quota Seats:
50% of the seats are reserved as Government quota. This will be allotted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE), Govt. of Kerala.
Application Forms (Rs. 200) and Information Brochure (Rs. 100) are available from the FISAT Office or from FISAT Management Office (FBOA Centre, FBOA Road, Near Pvt. Bus Stand, Aluva) in person or by Demand Draft for RS. 350/- favouring ‘FISAT’ payable at Aluva to be sent through Post/Courier.
